What this covers

These terms cover the use of this website and the process of requesting and booking work with us. They are not the whole agreement for a job - the quote we give you for specific work is.

Quotes

• Quotes are free and carry no obligation.
• A quote covers the work described in it. If we get on site and find something materially different from what was described - a second story where we expected one, or a repair beyond a small fix - we will stop and talk to you before doing anything that changes the price.
• Submitting the form or asking for a quote does not book anything. Work is scheduled once we have both agreed on it.

Scope of work

We clean gutters and make small gutter repairs. We do not install gutters, replace gutter systems, or fit gutter guards. Where a job needs any of that, we will tell you rather than take it on.

We work over and around existing gutter guards. We are not responsible for the performance of guards fitted by someone else, and removing and refitting them is not always possible without damage - if that is a risk on your property we will say so first.

Access and safety

We need safe access to the roofline: somewhere stable to set a ladder, and gates unlocked and pets secured where relevant. If a section cannot be reached safely, we will not attempt it. We will tell you which section and why, and it comes off the price.

Weather moves work. Wet or high wind means we do not go up. If we have to reschedule you will hear it from us rather than find out by waiting.

Condition of existing gutters

Gutters that are already rusted, rotten, brittle with age or poorly fitted can fail while being cleaned, however carefully it is done. Where we can see that risk beforehand, we will point it out and let you decide. We are not responsible for the failure of components that were already at the end of their life.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. The price is the quoted price - there are no call-out fees or add-ons that were not in the quote.

Cancelling

Let us know as early as you can and there is no charge. We will do the same for you.

This website

We keep the information here accurate, but it is general guidance rather than a promise about your specific property. Advice about how often gutters need cleaning depends on your trees, roof and rainfall.
